CopperMan Consulting supplies SAP Planning and Consolidation professionals to tier 1 banks, global telecoms organisations, international media agencies and FTSE engineering companies, and works exclusively with Computer Futures for all its specialist hires.

The Challenge 

90% of the roles CopperMan Consulting fills on behalf of clients are SAP/BCP/Project Leads and each requires a hybrid skill set that is extremely niche and difficult to source. The large majority of roles require specialists with a background in IT and accounting, with particular expertise in financial consolidation.

The niche nature of these roles meant that the majority of potential applicants were already in work and so the standard recruitment campaign would not yield the right level of candidate. As the company has grown significantly this has also meant the business has become under increasing pressure to source the right people while being unable to dedicate the vast time and resources required to manage this activity.

Our Approach

Our specialist approach to technologies was key to the success of this campaign. The team allocated to the Copperman account deals with the roles they recruit for day in, day out and as a result understand this small segment of the IT market inside out; they have developed exclusive relationships with the best candidates, including those currently in work. This immediately provides the client with a broader reach as well as a more targeted approach to their recruitment.

Through our network of offices we were able to allocate dedicated resources within each territory and each with a proven track record of success in the area they were recruiting into. Instead of relying solely on standard recruitment channels such as database search and job board advertising, our consultants were able to use their technical networks, profile in the market and relationship management expertise to recruit active job seekers and passive candidates; thereby significantly improving the talent pool available to them and the expertise available to CopperMan Consulting.

The Result

As a result of this relationship, CopperMan has recruited a number of specialists with this highly specialised skillset. After proving the value of our experience, CopperMan Consulting has acknowledged the true value Computer Futures brings to their business and as a result we have become their exclusive supplier for their other highly specialist roles.
