One of our global clients is looking for a bilingual IT Support as soon as possible with B2C experience supporting customer facing applications such as POS and ticketing.

Responsibilities

  • Supporting Day to day IT operations
  • Supporting business applications such as ticketing and retail systems, POS etc
  • Desktop hardware support and network troubleshooting
  • Responding to inquiries, issues, and requests from business users as first line contact
  • Working with vendors/external partners
  • Be a resource for the project team (hardware releases / business application enhancement or implementation / testing / business application support)
  • IT Asset Management - Logging of all assets into a system
  • Perform System upgrades, lead on the testing for these upgrades, partnering with the business for user acceptance testing
  • Provide user training and create user manuals and technical how-to documents for business and internal use

Required Skills

  • Japanese and English Bilingual (Japanese native, English business level)
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience working in an internal IT department supporting business applications
  • Experience working with retail and ticketing solutions
  • Experience working within manufacturing or entertainment company
  • Experience working in an international environment including different time zones and international teams
  • Degree in Computer Science or relevant work experience
