One of our global clients is looking for a bilingual IT Support as soon as possible with B2C experience supporting customer facing applications such as POS and ticketing.
Responsibilities
- Supporting Day to day IT operations
- Supporting business applications such as ticketing and retail systems, POS etc
- Desktop hardware support and network troubleshooting
- Responding to inquiries, issues, and requests from business users as first line contact
- Working with vendors/external partners
- Be a resource for the project team (hardware releases / business application enhancement or implementation / testing / business application support)
- IT Asset Management - Logging of all assets into a system
- Perform System upgrades, lead on the testing for these upgrades, partnering with the business for user acceptance testing
- Provide user training and create user manuals and technical how-to documents for business and internal use
Required Skills
- Japanese and English Bilingual (Japanese native, English business level)
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience working in an internal IT department supporting business applications
- Experience working with retail and ticketing solutions
- Experience working within manufacturing or entertainment company
- Experience working in an international environment including different time zones and international teams
- Degree in Computer Science or relevant work experience
