Lead Data Engineering Engineer (data science) (CF-34169519)

My ambitious, international client in the Netherlands has a permanent position open.

There are already great data scientists from the Business but we need a Lead who is able to approach data science with an IT mindset.

I am looking for somebody with at least 7 years relevant working experience as engineer and 2 years in a leadership role.

Educational level / working and thinking level: Bachelor's degree

Necessary functional knowledge:

Deep knowledge of data science, advanced analytics, and statistics. Ability to
interrogate data, perform analyses, interpret data, and present to business audiences.

Deep knowledge of SQL and Databricks tools, and big data platforms such as Hadoop

Deep knowledge of open-source data science and statistics packages such as
Python, R, Spark, etc.

Extensive experience with implementing Business Intelligence solutions.Proficiency in data architecture principles and practices, including data modeling, database design, and data integration strategies.

Knowledge of cloud data services and cloud platforms and experience in leveraging these platforms for data storage, processing, and analytics
Known member of the larger technical data science community.

Management experience:

Experience in leading a team or community of developers.

This is NOT remote but hybrid. Actually, in this role, your presence in the office is required.
