At Computer Futures, our purpose is to bring skilled people together to build the future and we believe that it's also out responsibility to protect and enhance the future of the markets we operate in.
As part of this, we have developed 'Secure Futures', an initiative marking our commitment to alleviating the skills gap across the business risk and cyber security sector. With such a striking shortage of professionals in this field, we recognise the importance of harnessing talent on a global level.
With Secure Futures, we want to raise the profile of a career in business risk and cyber security to a global audience. This includes hosting and sponsoring targeted events with partners around the world. These events range from talks to graduates in universities to round table and networking events on topics such as diversity and inclusivity. Just recently Peter Kelly, our Cyber Security and Business Risk Practice Lead, spoke to a group of students at Middlesex University about cyber crime and raising awareness of the opportunities available in the industry. We believe Secure Futures offers a platform to share our message and encourage people across the world to consider the value of such a crucial career.
Peter Kelly, who is driving our Secure Futures campaign globally, heads up our cyber security and business risk team in the UK, which has grown every year since it began back on 2014.
