We are thrilled to be sponsoring the 2019 Bristol Technology Showcase
Bristol Technology Showcase has announced details of its forthcoming event to be held at Aerospace Bristol on Friday the 8th of November, home to the iconic Concorde, sponsored by Computer Futures. The Bristol Technology Showcase (BTS) is focused on emerging technologies and those themes encompassed in the 4th industrial revolution with a focus on how they will affect businesses and wider society as a whole.
BTS is a founding partner of the Bristol Technology Festival, an umbrella brand of technology events that are being co-located over the same week. BTS is aimed at business leaders, investors and influencers where BTS brings first class speakers who will talk about the impact and implications of new technologies on business, their people and their investment strategies.
The event will facilitate multiple speakers, panel debates, interviews, demonstrable technology and innovation stands, and an excellent networking opportunity.
Key speakers include:
Simon Beswick, International CEO of Osborne Clarke will deliver this year’s opening keynote, providing an amazing story of Bristol business, technology innovation and transformation.
The closing keynote will be delivered by Gerd Leonhard, Futurist and CEO of The Futures Agency and recognised as one of the top 10 futurists globally.
Many other speakers are also announced including Giles Colborne, Founder of CX Partners and Dominic Hogg, Chairman of Eunomia. Additional speakers are available on the Bristol Technology Showcase website with further speaker announcements being made in the coming weeks.
BTS aims to provide attendees with new insights into how new technologies will create opportunities for businesses, competitive advantage and will help shape further thoughts on corporate risks, business capabilities and future organisation strategies.
“After the success of last year’s inaugural Bristol Technology Showcase, we are thrilled to be partnering up with Nick, Paul and the team at BTS again in what is shaping up to be a fantastic day, showcasing future technology. The 4th industrial revolution topics and future technology trends strongly align with our ever-growing STEM marketplace within our Bristol office so we can’t wait to attend the upcoming event in November.” Russell Woodford – Principal Consultant, Computer Futures, Bristol.
