HSE Passport

In order to achieve legal compliance and to satisfy their duty of care, many businesses now require evidence that contractors will have completed some basic Health, Safety and Environmental training prior to beginning an assignment. This can help to avoid any potential prosecution should a contractor be injured, or causes an injury to others, while working on their premises.

Computer Futures has signed a partnership agreement with HSE Passport to offer our UK based contractors, and UK registered contractors working abroad, easy, quick and cost-effective access to Occupational Health, Safety and Environmental training at a competitive rate. It also means that contractors who are members of the HSE Passport scheme are much more attractive to employers.

What is HSE Passport and how does it work?

HSE Passport gives a unique ID card that the holder can use as evidence that they have successfully completed Health, Safety and Environment training. This card will have a picture of the contractor, a unique contractor number and is supplied complete with a holder and lanyard.

The online training is interactive, engaging, should take between 30 and 40 minutes and contains the following modules:

  • Emergencies
  • Workplace Safety
  • Use of DSE
  • Employee Health (trips, slips and lifting)
  • Personal Safety
  • Driving Safety
  • Environmental Issues

HSE Passport helps to manage risk by providing solid evidence to the employer that a worker has successfully completed training is basic Health Safety and Environmental matters.
