Account Manager opportunity to join a high level UK wide technology company that partner with the UK Government to provide mission critical Data Management & Analytics Software. The role will be based out of their Manchester office.

Account Manager - Manchester - £60,000 - £90,000 DOE

You will join the Security and Intelligence team, reporting into Director, you will work closely with long standing customers, ensuring projects are delivered to high levels of satisfaction and maintaining the company's position as their partner of choice.

Working closely with the Business Development team, you will also develop new business within the current customer base.

JOB SPECIFICATION

Build on the company's highly successful business, and established relationships within UK National Security and related partners.

Some of Your responsibilities would include:

◼ Liaising with the internal Management Team, including Delivery Managers, Technical Leads as well as the wider team members to ensure solution delivery satisfies client expectation and need.

◼ Building senior stakeholder relationships - Security & Intelligence customers and selected partner organisations.

◼ Generating profitable sales, supporting the Account growth including upselling and cross-selling, identifying opportunities to grow business with existing clients and strategic partners.

◼ Developing new business opportunities within the UK National Security sector.

◼ Forecasting orders and revenue and providing key metrics to the business.

◼ Escalation point for customers and Delivery Leads.

◼ Supporting the Business Development team with their short, medium and long term strategy objectives related to the Security & Intelligence business.

CANDIDATE SPECIFICATION

As the Account Manager within the Security and Intelligence Business Stream, you will be expected to develop a sound understanding of customer's missions and the challenges they are looking to overcome.

You will ideally have exposure to:

◼ Developing and maintaining long-term relationships with key stakeholders and championing their requirements within the business.

◼ A good understanding and previous experience of Software.

◼ Knowledge of the UK National Security sector or related government departments.

◼ Managing customer relationships ensuring client goals are met while achieving company commercial objectives.

◼ Leading commercial negotiations.

◼ Previous experience in a Senior Customer Management role with UK Government experience preferred.

◼ You must be a British National and willing to undergo or already have UKIC / DV Clearance.
