Full stack Developer opportunity to join an Ed-tech company in central London.

Your responsibilities

  • Work both independently and in teams on front/back-end solutions for specified requirements
  • Design and develop new features for existing and new software
  • Implement "best practice" coding with an emphasis on modular and reusability
  • Optimize and enhance existing software
  • Write and keep relevant all technical documentation
  • Ensure that our software is stable and runs
  • Cooperate with team members on generic solutions and infrastructure

Skills & Experience

  • Minimum of 5 years' experience building complex front-end and back-end systems
  • Degree in Computer Science or any Engineering/Physical science
  • Proficiency in fundamental front-end languages such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
  • Familiarity with Javascript frameworks such as React JS, Angular 2, Vue JS
  • Proficiency in server-side microservices development
  • Experience with building REST API, and deployment
  • Familiarity with database technology such as DynamoDB, SQL, MySQL, and MongoDB
  • Excellent understanding of version control systems

Core Competencies

  • Strong organizational and project management skills
  • Excellent problem-solving skills
  • Easily adapts to new programming languages

Preferred Features

  • Experience with DevOps is a big plus
  • Experience with Cloud environment like AWS, Azure, Google Cloud is a big plus
  • Good written and verbal communication skills in Korean is a big plus
  • Experience with TypeScript, Node.js, Python or Go
  • Experience with CI / CD
  • Experience with modern CSS frameworks such as Material UI
  • Experience with Open API
  • Experience with Docker
  • Experience with working in the agile environment
