The Engineer must have experience of Devops (and in particular Ansible) for application deployment & configuration in a multi-vendor system. This should include Windows & Linux as well as networking environments such as Cisco & Palo Alto.

The position requires a minimum of +5 years' experience within a similar role preferably working in secure environment such as MOD/GOV/NATO. This role is to develop a solution for deployed military systems project to satisfy customer requirements.

A successful candidate will:

  • Design and Implementation ofDevops Capability using the following
    • Devops using Ansible (Ansible Tower, Ansible Engine, Ansible Automation Platform)
    • YAML
    • Vmware VRealize
    • API development using RESTful
    • GitLab CI/CD
  • Support the project with automation of the Infrastructure.
  • Full life cycle software development/Scripting
    • Powershell, Python, C# (desirable)
    • OASIS TOSCA
    • JFrog
  • Hands on deployment of their Knowledge of Windows, Linux and Virtualisation Techniques
  • Fault finding and problem solving.

Demonstrable Design and Implementation Skills/Qualifications in the following areas:

  • Linux
  • Microsoft Windows Server
  • Networking Technologies
  • Devops using Ansible (Ansible Tower, Ansible Engine, Ansible Automation Platform)
  • YAML
  • Vmware VRealize
  • API development using RESTful
  • GitLab CI/CD
