My client are Cheltenham-based software house founded back in 1989 which provides a business management portal to exam boards and awarding bodies, also providing bespoke database application development services across a number of sectors.

The product supports the core business functions and is a portal style solution which can be used by internal staff, and with its sophisticated security structure enables any function can be made available to centres, assessors, and external users, it is the only fully web based award organisation management system with such an extensive range of functions.

They currently require a C#.NET Developer to join the team, with the role being a mixture of software development and hands-on project delivery including testing, installations and support, you will be working within a bespoke development team and be capable of implementing a project from start to finish.

This role will suit a developer who wishes to work directly with clients in a very customer-focussed role who is happy to work at a client site when required. You will also be required to support a number of existing bespoke applications which have been developed for clients as they regularly request new modules or extensions to their systems, you will also embark on a number of new exciting projects.

I have worked collaboratively with this company over the last couple of years helping them add to their IT department, and continue to work with them closely building on an exclusive working relationship.

Role - C#. NET Developer

Location - Cheltenham - Hybrid

Salary £40k - £50k doe

Technical skills:

C#, .NET, VB, SQL Server, SQL Server Reporting Services, Windows-based applications, Web-based applications, TFS

Desirable (but not essential)

Microsoft Dynamics CRM, Other Microsoft products, Experience of PHP, CMS (Wordpress)
