I am urgently looking for a Data Product Owner - paying £590 per day INSIDE IR35

This role will be based in the UK. You are offered the flexibility of working remotely with travel to Reading once a week

About the role:

You will be joining the team at an exciting time! The Data Product Owner is an influential role at *** and given our ambition is to exploit data assets to better serve our customers and deliver business value, the Data Product Owner role has been created. We need excellent product ownership capabilities within the team to ensure we deliver the team and the organisational data ambitions.

The role is a key part of a cross functional team comprising of digital, marketing, sales and technical experts. The team plays a pivotal role in delivering the overall patient and healthcare professional digital experience underpinning the *** business. We need you to empower and guide the data & insights project team with a compelling vision and plan. At ***, we recognise that to deliver the best products and features for our consumers, customers, and colleagues, we need to work effectively as a healthy, high-performing team. We work collaboratively across a mix of product and centralised teams, together working towards ***'s strategy.

Stakeholder management is key in this role so you should feel comfortable being able to craft messages for different audiences, including senior stakeholders and cross-functional partners (Technology, Data, Sales, other Centers of Excellence).

Specific tasks to be delivered:

  • Manage the sales and marketing data product lifecycle to enable full funnel marketing insight (design, deliver, launch, support, decommission etc.)
  • Decompose business requirements to define user stories to help the data and insights technical project team understand the work to be delivered.
  • Collaborate and communicate with operational business units, other data leads and engineering teams.
  • Creating and validating business cases that underpin the product/initiative, with a clear definition of opportunity and costs

You will be working with the Global Digital and Marketing Director and the Global SFE CRM Director to help shape the strategic direction, vision and objectives for the future of data led full funnel marketing based on clear, rational analysis and insights.

About you:

We are looking for someone with strong data skills who:

  • Experience in medium to large matrix organizations through periods of transformation.
  • Marketing experience essential and qualification in Data Science preferred,
  • Has the ability to translate complex technical language for range of different non-technical audiences
  • Is passionate about delivering high-quality experiences end to end
  • Actively encourages contributions from all those around them, recognising the value of team members' input when solving problems

  • Strong communicator: superior verbal and written English communication skills with an ability to translate large amounts of information into succinct actionable insights
