For a client located near Lake Zürich we are offering a position in the verification of an Embedded Software Platform for actuators for heating, ventilation and air conditioning systems.
The Task:
- Definition of test cases (functional, performance, stress, load...) according to requirements at integration (uC) and system (product) level
- Implementation of test cases in Python using a given HW test environment (test board, power supply, oscilloscope, logic analyzer, etc.)
- Ensure adequate level of test automation
- Execute test cases
- Evaluate non-conformities (SW bug, infrastructure bug, etc.) in close cooperation with the development team
- Report findings
Your Profile:
- Thorough Embedded Software / firmware Testing at uC level
- Thorough experience in IoT-Based integration and system verification as part of complex product development
- Thorough experience setting up test environments with Python
- Experience with hardware and Software Abstraction Layers
- Expertise in memory services, including memory allocation, deallocation and protection
- Proficient in RTOS configuration and customization for real-time applications
- Strong knowledge of data handling techniques efficient data storage and processing
- Experience with logging and tracing for system debugging and performance monitoring
- Skilled in developing and integrating drivers for various peripherals such as sensors and actuators
- Familiarity with display technologies, excluding LCD, E-Paper and 7-Segment displays
- Proficient in external bus communication protocols, such as NFC, Modbus and BACnet
- Experienced with internal bus communication
- Strong communication and problem solving skills
- Education in electronics and/or Computer science
