Computer Futures have recently partnered with a highly successful and long-standing company based in Gloucestershire, UK. The business is an independent testing laboratory, which also manufactures burn-in and HTOL systems for well known companies across the world.

Following continuous growth, it is now time for an additional FPGA Engineer/Digital Design Engineer to join the close-knit engineering team. This position will be on a permanent basis. You can expect to work closely with a number of clients, to design/develop high-end bespoke systems to fit their requirements. This role will allow you to expand your knowledge and experience across the full product development life cycle, FPGA/VHDL development and also embedded software (C/C++).

Essential requirements

  • 4-5 Years of commercial experience within FPGA/VHDL development.
  • HND/HNC/BEng/BSc in a relevant subject.
  • Knowledge of embedded systems.
  • Hands on experience with PIC microprocessors, or similar.

Desirable requirements

  • Strong coding skills within embedded C/C++.
  • Experience of electronic analogue/digital circuitry design.
  • Ability to develop GUI programs for windows-based systems.
