What makes a career-defining role?
For Daniel Craig it was 007. For Helen Mirren it was The Queen. For you, this Global Salesforce Programme Manager role is the one you'll be remembered for. Where you'll make your mark.
So you've already worked closely with global clients, helping deliver large software implementations
And you've dealt with non-profits before, helping them have a vision for the future whilst trying to supply the project support they need.
But how about engaging with THE biggest non-profit Salesforce customer on the globe? You haven't done that before, but here's your chance
This will take all of those client-nuturing skills you've built up over the years, but what a payoff… Quite literally, as you'll be enabling them to grow their fundraising and supporter engagement.
This is being achieved through the power of Salesforce and Marketing Cloud. There's no need to be a Salesforce expert, as long as you've managed some projects involving the platform.
Your own growth will be supported with 9 days every year dedicated to upskilling you. You'll have the time and the funding towards training that you choose, ensuring that you're always improving yourself in areas which you care about.
You'll be helping this global charity client put together their technology roadmap for Salesforce, promoting best practices and looking at continuous enablement as well as implementation.
You will work closely alongside senior consultants and architects internally, as well as being very closely embedded within the client and helping facilitate communication between their own leadership team & technology teams.
You'll be working for a Salesforce consultancy who are THE experts in helping nonprofits. You don't have to be a nonprofit expert personally, as long as you've had some exposure to working with a nonprofit at some point.
Whether the cause near-and-dear to you lies with saving the children, saving the planet, saving the animals, feeding the hungry, curing illness, supporting the disabled, or creating equality there will be a project here which can be close to your heart.
You'll be pleased to hear that they don't just help nonprofits with Salesforce solutions, but also put their money where their mouth is, having donated £000s this year already to local charities chosen by staff.
The giving back still doesn't stop there, with the company giving you 3 volunteering days on top of your annual leave and matching charitable donations you make through your salary.
You know from your experience that nonprofit projects aren't a lovely fluffy world. There can be challenging timelines and it can often be more difficult to get resources from a client perspective.
But you'll be supported by a team of people who genuinely care. Who have a very structured approach, tried & tested methodologies, and who treat this as a calling, not just a job.
You'll experience a terrific onboarding program, mentoring sessions which can focus on private or professional development and of course all the life, dental, medical, income protection and mental health provision you'd expect from a people-focused business.
This isn't a new role so you'll have an extensive handover period. The current incumbent is moving upwards within the business so it's all due to positive growth.
This is a fully remote role, but you have to be prepared for that rare occasion when a client might need to meet in-person.
Despite dealing with a global organisation, you'll always stick to normal UK business hours and never ever be expected to do out-of-hours meetings. They've been homeworking since before the pandemic, so you'll be trusted and not overworked.
The salary on offer is up to £85,000 for a 37.5hr week, with 5% pension, BUPA private medical. You get 24 days holiday, but with the option to purchase up to 5 more days.
To recap, the key experience for a successful application would be:
- Proven experience managing the relationship with a global-scale client
- Experience managing Salesforce projects
- Experience working with non-profits
