Head of Product opportunity to come and join a rapidly expanding Software Technology company who partner with the Government, across Defence, National Security, Critical National Infrastructure and Central Government to head up their Enterprise Architecture software products. You will be leading a business function of around 40 people, within a wider business of around 280 people in the UK.

Head of Product Position - Remote in the UK (with travel /office options) - up to £110,000 +£20,000 Bonus

You will own the strategy for the product and provide leadership/direction to the team. In addition, you will be responsible for:

◼ Planning for future upgrades and changes to support the growth of the product & business
◼ Own the pricing structure of the Product
◼ Managing the product across all functions - from software development to delivery to account management and sales.
◼ Contribute to the generation of profitable sales, including identifying opportunities to grow business with existing clients, new clients and strategic partners in conjunction with the sector leads.
◼ Working with the wider business Commercial Team to collaborate and support joint business opportunities.
◼ Managing business growth through the maintenance of existing account relationships.
◼ Managing marketing campaigns.
◼ Working with the Delivery Leads to ensure successful delivery, being an escalation point for Delivery Teams and Customers.
◼ Creating relationships with customers and stakeholders at a senior level to identify and grow future opportunities.
◼ Accurately forecast business growth and pipeline
◼ Working with the wider business and Technical Leadership Team to inform new offerings and develop capabilities aligned to future strategic growth plans.

As the Head of Product you will be an experienced leader, able to quickly establish yourself in the role and with key clients. Due to the industries the business work in, the successful candidate will need to be able to obtain high level security clearance. To qualify for this, you must be a British citizen and have lived permanently in the UK for the last 5 years. The ideal candidate will have the following skills and experience;

◼ Previous demonstrable experience managing and growing a product based business.
◼ Experience in managing multi-disciplinary teams and working as part of a wider team.
◼ Experience in working with mixed product and professional services teams.
◼ Knowledge and understanding of IT and the digital sector, specifically in technical architecture.
◼ Confidence to make difficult decisions and generate support for future ideas and plans.
◼ A leader who can influence peers and a motivational manager of teams.
◼ Solid communication skills (both verbal and written).
◼ Experience in presenting in front of large groups of people and at all levels within organisations.
◼ Strong educational background.
