Computer Futures are presently looking for a Lead Business Analyst to join a key client of ours in Portsmouth.

Getting the right individual is integral to the overall success of the business and its long-term growth plans. You will be required to lead the existing BA team through their current programme of work and will become a vital part of the leadership team.

Roles & Responsibilities:

Working with business workstreams in the programme to gather and manage requirements and assist with the design and assurance of products as part of the delivery of systems and processes according to tight deadlines.

Mentoring business analysts, ensuring the team operates as interchangeable resources to meet changing needs according to their availability and capability, building the capacity of the team in the process.

Collecting, reviewing, analysing and interpreting data, and assessing data quality in order to contribute to business planning processes

Analysing and presenting information to inform decision making, bringing together a wide knowledge and experience base of methodologies alongside sector and business knowledge.

Interrogating multiple connected and disconnected bespoke business systems across the organisation, pulling information into accessible formats, and presenting recommendations and conclusions in support of business decision making.

Presenting and analysing large amounts of data, and developing useful formats and actionable insights

Skills & Experience Required:

Experience of end to end business requirements management and controls.

Experience or training in business analysis discipline and/or methodology.

Experience of working closely with other teams and using shared knowledge and experience to accomplish complex tasks and outputs

Experience of understanding business processes and producing reports to allow effective management based on multiple data sources

Experience or good understanding of widely recognised project management discipline and/or methodology.

Experience of working on a high profile business transformation project or programme, to tight deadlines.
