Computer Futures are presently looking for a Project Coordinator to join a key client of ours in Portsmouth.

The role will require Project Management of small one-off projects and assistance on more complex/larger projects under the supervision and guidance of senior programme staff.

Roles & Responsibilities:

Project Manage small projects from inception to completion including liaising with internal customers, stakeholders, and external contractors in line with the companies Project Management procedures.

Work closely with Programme and Project Managers on Tier 1 projects to ensure they achieve the benefits of the project briefs.

Update programmes to accurately reflect the progress being made against that originally programmed.

Work flexibly across major projects adopting different methodologies; i.e waterfall and agile.

Assist the Programme Manager in the production of procurement documentation to meet the specifications required for Major IT system in conjunction with the central procurement team.

Handle all requests for information and data relating to the projects they are supporting.

Prepare, manage and maintain project schedules.

Ensuring documentation is prepared to deadlines set by the Programme or Project Manager.

Skills & Experience Required:

Proven knowledge of Planning Projects

Proven experience of and familiarity of project management relevant to a large and complex organisation

Proven experience in using Microsoft Office including MS Project

Knowledge of Waterfall and Agile project methodologies

Experience of working alongside consultants and technical teams in Project Management work

Ability to provide detailed works estimates as and when required

Ability to prepare detailed technical specifications

Ability to manage and maintain delegated project budgets as and when required
