A Senior Software Controls Engineer is now needed as part of expansion for an global leaders in advanced powertrain based in the West Midlands. As their Senior Software Controls Engineer you will be working with a team of 20 engineers across various disciplines including Embedded Software, Hardware and Mechanical throughout the full product lifecycle. You will be working for a company who heavily invest in their people and with the growth of the company there is the opportunity to progress to Team Lead or Lead technically in the future. The company also highly value ensuring their Engineers have an excellent home life balance with 2 days on site and flexibility around working hour as well as the ability to buy up to 5 days holiday.

When joining their Software and Systems team you will be working on varied projects within their battery management systems and bespoke smaller niche projects also. You will be supporting their Simulink development within safety critical environment so Matlab and Simulink are of particular interest. Everything is done completely on site and you will be involved in the full product lifecycle.

  • Systems Engineering
  • Safety Critical environment EG Aerospace, Automotive, ISO26262,
  • Matlab and Simulink Development
  • Embedded Control systems
  • Testing
  • Fault finding
  • Full Lifecycle experience
