Solutions Architect / Technical Lead

Paying up to £70,000

We are looking for an passionate, versatile Solutions Architect / Technical Lead. You will need confidence and presence to be able to lead this small team, however it is essential that you are happy to be hands on too.


  • Contributing to technology strategies, road maps, design patterns and reviews.
  • Overseeing tasks and projects ensuring we deliver to the required deadlines, demonstrating leadership and guidance within your own specialism.
  • Providing support, technical expertise, advice and guidance to our internal and customer activities, including client system and server framework development.
  • Helping identify and develop further business opportunities with their Account Managers.
  • Provision of timely, accurate reporting and updates to all key stakeholders.
  • Mentor, coach and develop the junior staff.


  • Experience of developing and deploying solutions in Linux-based systems
  • Technical Software development, software integration and engineering life cycles and design experience
  • Experience developing, implementing and supporting customisation's and extensions to COTS and Open Source platforms
  • One or more of Elastic Stack, ArcGIS, RabbitMQ, Apache NiFi or similar
  • Experience in one or more of the following languages: Python, Java, JavaScript, HTML5 and CSS3 with the react framework
  • SC/DV clearance or the willingness to undergo this process
