With several well-known and high-profile clients across Insurance, Telecommunications, Banking, Retail, and Automotive industries, their Japan team is looking for a Technical Consultant to help provide these clients with sophisticated support and guidance.

Every Day Will be Different

As a Technical Consultant, clients will reach out to you to proactively help with their most difficult technology issues. You will be responsible for complex coding puzzles, looking at issues from a technology and best practices viewpoint (System Architecture, System Management).

In addition to supporting external clients, you will work closely with Software Developers, Pre-sales, and Account Managers to ensure the success of customers.

Requirements

In addition to Fluent Japanese (JLPTN1) and Business English, the following are highly advantageous:

• 5+ Years in technical mentoring, training, or consulting.
• Great communication abilities: Both with internal and external stakeholders.
• Proactive to learn and study new technologies.
• Experience programming or scripting in any procedural or object-oriented languages: C, C++, Cobol, Java
• Database technologies are a plus.
• PhD or Academic research experience is a plus.
