Tommy Haviland
Director
Tommy manages the Digital and Enterprise Division at Computer Futures, spanning four teams delivering the full gamut of bilingual recruitment services across technical and commercial functions within EC, OTA, Advertising, Digital Media, Entertainment, Fintech, Consumer Tech, and Consumer Goods sectors.
Since joining the business in 2013, he and his teams have been incredibly passionate about partnering with dynamic, high-growth start-up companies and established industry leaders who are shaping the face of the digitally connected world.
Alexander Jenner
Senior Manager
Alexander Jenner is a senior manager who is primarily in charge of recruiting across a range of technology clients and managing the online technology recruitment division for Japan. He is also part of the APAC DE&I focus group at SThree.
Prior to SThree, Alexander was a Commodity Futures Proprietary Trader and Quantitative Analyst with a privately held brokerage and asset management firm in Osaka, Japan. Born in the UK, Alexander has been in Japan since 2003 and attended university both in the UK and at Kyoto University in Japan, earning degrees in Physics and Astrophysics.
Koji Takei
Senior Manager
Koji is a senior manager in charge of the internal IT recruitment team across different industries such as Healthcare, Retail, Hospitality & Entertainment, Industrial and Logistics. He comes with almost a decade of recruitment experience and personally covers internal IT recruitment for the healthcare sector in Japan.
Since joining us in 2015, he has enjoyed a great track record of not only being a top performer, but also in growing his team and developing them in recruiting for mid to senior level IT professionals.
Robert Chinnery
Senior Manager
Robert is the senior manager of the Enterprise IT Engineering team in Japan, specialising in recruitment for Pre-sales and Post-sales top talent. His team comprises of specialist consultants that focuses on different areas within technology and IT. These technologies include Cyber Security, Big Data, ERP & CRM, Unified Communications, and IT Infrastructure.
Prior to joining SThree, Robert worked for a few years for boutique recruitment firms in Tokyo to gain hands-on local experience. He then joined us in 2017 and now has a good global and local network to tap into for his clients and candidates. He is also well assimilated into the Japanese culture after living here for over 15 years.
Hideaki Suzuki
Senior Manager
Hideaki joined us in 2015, after gaining years of sales experience in both local Japanese and international manufacturing companies. He is known to deliver a great customer service and is well-liked for the dedicated support he provides. This has also allowed him to successfully connect skilled candidates and valued clients within IT and technology.
He is now a senior manager leading Consulting and Salesforce teams where he leverages the knowledge and experience that he's gained by supporting a diverse group from young talent to senior executives for their career change across many industries within IT. One of his strengths is focusing on career development for candidates, as well as business growth for clients.
Mai Waksa
Senior Manager
Mai started her career in the Motorsports industry, where she had extensive exposure to the fields of Marketing and Public Relations. Following that, she ran her own business for a number of years before transitioning into the recruitment of sales & marketing professionals for international organisations in Tokyo.
While having a strong focus on the B2C and eCommerce segments (retail and luxury), she has recruited senior sales & marketing professionals across a wide range of industries within the digital and eCommerce space. She dedicates herself to help our customers find the best match.
Jonathan Wale
Associate Director
Jonathan is a subject matter expert within IT Contract solutions in Japan and has an extensive understanding of Japanese Employment Laws. He currently leads the IT Contracts Team which covers a wide range of tech roles. He also personally focuses on client sales and senior account management within Financial Services & Fintech.
After 10 years of recruitment experience in London and Tokyo, and 9 years of running his own business, Jonathan has gained a wealth of knowledge and experience in successfully building and managing large teams within the complex IT Contracting market. This makes them a valuable business partner; whether it’s for clients looking for solutions towards skill shortages or IT professionals looking for their next project.
Ashley Baker
Manager
Originally from the UK, Ashley came to Japan in 2012 and joined Sony as a UI/UX Designer before entering the recruitment industry. He subsequently joined us as a digital specialist consultant in 2017 and has since progressed through the ranks in record time and was one of the top performers in APAC.
He was also given an opportunity in 2020 to move to our Singapore office to lead a team before returning to the Japan team in 2022 where he now manages one of our most successful teams - Software Engineering. He and his team work on behalf of global software houses and buzzing local startups to introduce them to top software engineers, designers, and management team members.
Ayaka Yoshida
Manager
After graduating from university, Ayaka joined a Japanese airline as a ground staff where she learnt the importance of customer service. After years of experience in general ground operations at an airport, she decided to venture into recruitment in January 2017.
Currently, she leads a team in charge of sales and marketing positions within the BtoB market. She connects IT professionals with software companies within data such as big data, analytics, AI, BI, and RPA. She is known for her extensive knowledge of the Japanese IT market, strong relationships with her partner companies, as well as her attentive support tailored to the needs of her clients and candidates.
