Primary objective:

To help drive continued sales growth with our existing Japan customers and new customers.

Main responsibilities/duties:

Manage key accounts and develop strong relationships with multiple stakeholders including distributors, government organizations, engineering, purchasing and senior management.
Increase customer base and close orders with new target customers.
Identify and create new sales opportunities with both new and existing customers.
Provide monthly forecasts and reports of business potential in assigned area.
Work closely with BU and regional teams to proactively drive sales opportunities forward.
Assist Japan Country Manager and business unit marketing team with researching new market opportunities and launching new products.


Key Skills/Competency:

Experience in sales, as an account manager, of mobile (wireless) network (RAN / Core) test equipment is preferred.

Previous Experience:

At least 3-5 years of sales experience in technology related industry
An existing network of key customer relationships in mobile (wireless) industry


Minimum Degree holder in Telecommunications/Computer/Electrical Engineering from a recognized institution.

Other Key Factors:

Excellent communications and customer relationship management skills.
Ability to understand customer applications/requirements and relate those to relevant features. and benefits of the products to articulate a winning value proposition for the customer.
Strong communications skills and strongly customer-oriented.
Willingness to travel (mainly within Japan) frequently to provide solutions support to clients.
Good oral and written communication skills in English.
