Full Stack Engineer (CF-33871484)

This is a tech startup developing their own in house applications and services, which include AI facial recognition solution, edtech products and more. Their Tokyo office is on the lookout for a full stack engineer to improve their current development services and application feature development. You will join a friendly and ambitious team, and you will be led by a fully bilingual CTO who has built his career in the UK and Japan.

What You'll Do

* Propose and implement features and system improvements to better serve our users
* Perform code reviews, source control management, build processes and testing
* Design, develop, test, deploy, maintain, and improve software

What You'll Need

* English or Japanese fluency
* At least 2 years as a professional Software Engineer
* Recent experience with NextJS

Bonus Points If You Have

* BS in Computer Science or a related technical discipline, or equivalent experience
* 1+ years in at least one of each these technologies:
Frontend: JavaScript/TypeScript, React, NextJS
Backend: PHP (Laravel, Eloquent) MySQL
Infra: AWS/GCP/Azure/Docker
* AI or ML development experience
