Head of New Business Verticals
A global leader in eCommerce Services, specialising in Food Delivery. The have a large market share in Europe and South-east Asia, and a rapidly growing business in Japan. A Head of New Business Verticals with experience in New Service Development, Business Development, or Start-ups is required to join one of the fastest growing eCommerce companies in the world. In this role you will be in charge of identifying new business verticals which compliment existing business areas, and be in charge of developing those new revenue channels through working closely with internal stakeholders, and identifying and building external partnerships.
You should be a native Japanese speaker and fluent in English, as well as experienced in the following areas:
- Business Development Experience in an eCommerce Platform or Consumer Goods company
- Highly skilled at New Service Development and building business divisions and organisations from the ground up
- Able to take complex problems and solve them with simple solutions
- Have a strong operational and project management skill-set with ability to multitask
You will work closely with the Japan Country Manager, regional stakeholders, and external partners to deliver outstanding results. In return you will be reward with a great salary (between 12 - 20m yen base), bonus, and additional benefits.
