Primary Activities/ Responsibilities:
This role will be supporting the following risk management and compliance functions in our company:
*Partner with business/IT stakeholders, and guide stakeholders in the compliance of company policies, procedures and external regulations.
*Driving adherence to our company's System Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
*Performing analysis to determine gaps in the security controls.
*Prioritize and focus on IT risks that affect the highest priority risks in the business areas.
*Providing risk-based input for effective decision making on resource & investment allocations.
*Support a positive culture change through continuousmonitoring, awareness, education, partnering with industry standard leaders and promoting best practices.
*Ensuring the divisions create Business Continuity Plans for the most critical systems.
*Audit support and response guidance.
*Contribute to enterprise-wide risk mitigation programs, processes and technologies focusing effort on identification of the highest risks.
*Serves as an expert on IT Security and Compliance policies. Maintains current state awareness and understanding of internal and industry practices relative to IT security & compliance. Knowledgeable of evolving trends, industry citations, etc.
*Elevate IT security awareness in general and targeted audience within the organization, service providers and other vendors.
Required Experience and Skills:
*Require at least 4-5 years of IT work experience -preferred with at least 2-3 years of cybersecurity and risk management-related background.
*Language proficiency in Japanese (native-level) and English (business-level) -this role will be interacting with our company's Japan Business/IT stakeholdersin Japanese/English and with global IT Risk Management & Security teams in English.
*Excellent collaboration skills and communications skills.
*Ability to collaborate well in a matrix environment and organization.
*Strong interest in and/or understanding of data management, governance and the protection of key business information assets.
*Natural curiosity and flexibility -able to adapt and learn new things (e.g. technologies, trends, IT & Business processes), and apply the knowledge to solve key business challenges.
*End to End mindset -a relentless ability to connect people, processes and information.
*Awareness of relevant industry business and information technology trends, in and out of pharmaceutical industry.
*Understanding of multi-cultures in the region and able to effectively work with various stakeholders.
