Supply Chain Business Analysis Manager acts as an internal consultant or Business Analyst with closely partnering with Back Office business functions mainly but not limited to SCM, QA and Finance, and is responsible for realizing business strategy/improvement needs with and/or without IT solutions. This role will primarily look after Back Office applications especially for SAP but will also be expected to drive innovations and improvements on cross-functional capabilities in back office and will eventually lead overall back office functions.

1. Partner with Back Office functions, understand their business strategy/needs and develop & execute DX (digital transformation) roadmap.
2. Design & deliver the solutions to realize new business processes/improvement needs with collaborating with business users and HQ & AP IT organizations, and lead change management for them.
3. As a member of DX Committee, define & Implement IT related common policies such as information security, SOD (Segregation Of Duties) and SLA (Service Level Agreement).
4. Trouble shoot any incident on responsible Back Office applications with collaborating with HQ & AP IT organizations.
5. Supervise daily master maintenance and user registration on responsible Back Office applications.

JOB DESCRIPTION

  1. Develop & execute DX (digital transformation) roadmap
    • With deep understanding of as-is business of Back Office functions, understand company's long-term goals & objectives and find out existing/potential needs of senior managements.
    • Analyze the gap between as-is & to-be, and develop necessary solutions & roadmap to fill the gap.
    • Obtain the consensus of the roadmap from stakeholders and execute it.
  2. Design & deliver the solutions and lead change management
    • Understand true purpose behind new business process/improvement requirements.
    • Design the appropriate solutions (not only IT solutions but also the solutions with business process change) to realize new business process/improvement requirements the most.
    • Obtain the consensus of the solution from business users and HQ & AP IT organizations.
    • Coordinate tests and trials of the solution to secure sufficient quality when necessary.
    • Lead change management to instill the solution.
  3. Define & Implement IT related common policies
    • Define & Implement necessary IT related common policies.
    • Periodically assess the implementation status of the policies and implement corrective measures when necessary.
  4. Trouble shooting of Back Office applications
    • Analyze incidents and isolate the cause (and provide temporary workaround when necessary).
    • Solve incidents by correcting the cause, with collaborating with HQ & AP IT organizations if necessary.
    • Plan and implement CAPA (Corrective Actions, Preventive Actions) when necessary.
  5. Supervise daily master maintenance and user registration
    • Monitor and supervise daily master maintenance and user registration on Back Office applications.
    • Solve the issues escalated by member.

Requirements:

  • Basic knowledge of overall Back Office functions such as SCM, QA and Finance
  • Basic understanding of GxP, SOX, J-PAL, Fair Trade Rules and other Japanese laws and regulations
  • Strong computer skills (MS Office Suite) and experience of any ERP system
  • Practical knowledge and experience of cross functional project management
  • Strong interpersonal skills and good facilitation skills
  • Native level Japanese communication skill
  • Business level English communication skill (TOEIC 750 and above)

Preferred:

  • Hands-on experience of any of Back Office function
  • Demonstrated knowledge and experience of statistical improvement methodologies such as TQM, Six Sigma
  • Hands-on experience of the project for implementing any ERP system as a core project member (failed project experience is much preferred)
  • Practical knowledge and experience of PMBOK, BABOK, CMMI, ITIL
  • Practical knowledge of SAP configuration
