Reporting to the Regional Marketing Director, the Marketing Manager will be responsible for the
planning and execution of marketing strategies in Japan to support the sub-region's business
objectives and revenue growth. This position works closely with Sales, Business Development,
Technical, Global and Regional marketing counterparts as well as our Partners to plan, execute,
analyse and optimize all marketing and PR activities in Japan.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute marketing plan, including integrated campaigns, events, industry
conferences and tradeshows, online, partner marketing, account-based marketing, social
media campaigns-designed to increase brand awareness, generate sales demand,
maximise conversion rates among prospects and within the customer base
- Develop good understanding of target vertical segments and create strategic messaging and
positioning for promotional tactics
- Collaborate and build relationships with cross-functional teams to develop and implement
targeted marketing programs
- Measure ROI for all activities and analyze sales funnel to identify areas for continual
improvement
- Lead channel marketing strategies including recruitment, enablement, marketing and
communications
- Develop connections with industry and partner organisations to create mutually beneficial
promotional opportunities
- Drive and execute media activities including press conference, media briefings and media
engagement activities
- Support customer advocacy program. Identify and develop customer success stories that
can be used as public references and case studies
- Manage content localization and development - web content, collaterals, white papers, case
studies etc
- Lead, coach, mentor and develop talent on the marketing team
- Act as a trusted marketing advisor to the management team
Requirements:
- 8-10 years related experience in IT industry and a management capacity
- Deep understanding of all modern demand generation and digital channels as well as when
to deploy each type of activity for maximum effectiveness
- Experience with Salesforce.com and marketing automation solutions such as Pardot
- Strong project management skills and ability to perform in fast-paced and high-energy
environment
- Bachelor's degree in Business or related discipline
- Excellent inter-personal, communications and presentation skills
- Energetic, flexible, collaborative and proactive; a team leader who can positively and
productively make impacts
- Fluent in spoken and written English and Japanese
