Platform Engineer, hybrid working, £45,000 - £55,000, immediate start with an organisation at the beginning of their transformation journey:
One of our key clients is looking for a permanent platform engineer to join an a recently formed cloud centre of excellent, who are starting a complex transformation programme from on-prem to the cloud. We are looking for someone who with an infrastructure background who has progressed into a Platform Engineer over the past two years.
Technical requirements:
Commercial experience as a platform engineer, with approximately two years of IAC experience.
At least two years of experience using Terraform or BICEP.
Excellent communication skills
Flexible working:
The organisation can provide tools and equipment to work remotely. So, whilst most people do spend most of their time working remotely - you must be prepared to travel to Cumbria when required (approximately once or twice a month). The interview process for this vacancy - will be a two-stage process; initial informal meet & greet and then a more structured 2nd stage with STAR based questions, with a possible tech test during that second stage.
