Responsibilities:

 Local Help desk's role for Japan.

 Base offices are in Mita office and Shinkiba office.

 Ensure Japan IT helpdesk services (onsite support) run optimally.

 Interviews users to collect information about problems and leads users through diagnostic procedures to determine source of error.

 Answers, evaluates, and prioritizes in-person requests for assistance from users experiencing problems with computer hardware, software, other technologies.

 Follow standard helpdesk procedures (Ticketing, IT request, troubleshooting, etc)

 Direct unresolved issues to the next level of support

 Maintenance and management of Microsoft AD, file services, printers and print services, mobile devices, etc.

 Basic troubleshooting and escalation of DHCP, DNS, Wi-Fi, VPN and other network issues

 Sift left to Global service desk to eliminate repetitive tasks and increase team efficiency.

 Monitoring, alerting, troubleshooting and resolution of issues and escalating to the appropriate technical resources to resolve issues.

 Create and maintain documentation

 Participates in continuous process improvement.

 Travel to Japan offices and provide IT support including project support and troubl eshooting when required

Required Qualifications:

 Language: Japanese-Native, English-business communication (meeting, chat, email)

 3 years helpdesk and ticketing system experience

 Good organizational and facilitation skills

 Positive and can-do attitude

 Strong communication and documentation skills

 Good experience with multiple technologies

 Experience with workstations, cell phones, printing systems, hardware and software repairs

 Experience with Lan/Wan support, Server 2016 and 2019

 Experience with PC and Mobile kitting Knowledge of Windows 10, Windows 11, Microsoft Office, Office 365, VPN access, iOS and Mobile MDM tool
