Solution Architect or Specialist (CF-34040388)

Principal Accountabilities (as a Solution Architect):

・Responsible to ensure the integration of new solutions into the application landscape or of validating the modifications to be made to the solutions in place.

・Producing architectural recommendations and best practices, and guarantees that they are respected by the teams in charge of application development.

・Provides the technical expertise and has the technical authority to ensure reliable developments with appropriate performance and scalability.

・Scrutinize project constraints to analyze alternatives, mitigate risks, and conduct process re-engineering as necessary.

・Works hand in hand with global architecture teams, product and project teams, production managers and various partners.

・Follow the related policies and governance rules in the company.

Principal Accountabilities (as a Solution Specialist):

・The position is responsible for multiple application services:

・Support incidents and inquiries from internal users, escalate them to external partners when needed.

・Manage contracts, cost, and deliverables from external partners.

・Monitor vulnerabilities report, plan, and execute the solutions in timely manner, often with external partners.

・Plan, optimize and manage the capacity for infrastructure and workforce resources.

・Contribute to a planning of project through identifying business demands, the provision of solution options, indicative cost, and work effort estimates.

・Follow the related policies and governance rules in the company.

●Qualifications :

Required Skills and Work Experience:

・Minimum 10 years of experience with enterprise application design and development.

・Minimum 4 years of experience in a solution or technical architect role using service and hosting solutions such as private/public cloud IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS platform.

・Experience with Relational Database implementation, operations and/or solution deployment experience in a business-critical, high-availability context (SQL Server is preferred).

・Hands-on experience with Website/web services as well as traditional IT networking, operations, management, and security experience.

・Knowledge of cloud and on-premises security controls including tenant isolation, encryption at rest, encryption in transit, key management, vulnerability assessments, application firewalls, SIEM, etc.

・Working knowledge of DevOps practices.

・Knowledge of and the ability interpret and apply best standards and practices in the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).

・Experience in managing vendors for application development and/or maintenance.

・Deep analytical skills and the ability to see the connections between layers of business operations.

・Skilled in communicating effectively verbally and in writing as well as presentations.

・English Language: Business Level.

・Japanese Language: Business Level.

Preferred Skills

・Project/Development Methodology: Basic Knowledge (Waterfall, Agile). ・Basic knowledge of mobile application architecture, development, and management.

・Experience in salesforce development or administration is a plus.
