As a highly visible brand in Japan, this leading global Business Intelligence platform is continuing to steadily expand their presence. A relied upon platform, their solutions have been vital to several DX initiatives for several brands and has seen great demand.

With increased usage, their team is needing additional Technical Support Engineers to provide troubleshooting and excellent customer services for clients across Japan and the North Asia region.

As a member of its second largest team, you will be a part of a new sub-team focused on the North Asia region with opportunities to use multiple languages.

As a member of the Technical Support team, you will be part of the second largest team in the Japan region. Focused on handling several support cases, you will investigate and document customer software and technical issues.

*If you possess Fluent or Native Korean language skills, your role scope will be expanded to cover North Asia*

Job Responsibilities:

  • Work with clients to optimize use of platform and solutions
  • Lead support case resolution efforts for clients
  • Work with user support, escalation engineering, and sales consultants to identify high-priority issues
  • Troubleshoot and root-cause analysis

You will be a great fit if you have the following:

  • Fluent Japanese (JLPTN1)
  • English (Reading/Writing) or Fluent Korean
  • 2+ years in a Technical Support, System Engineer, or customer facing roles in troubleshooting or resolving issues
  • Strong experience in Network, OS, Server, and SQL
  • You possess excellent communication skills and are a Problem-Solver

For this role, although highly valued, Business Intelligence experience is not needed. Their team has a great training program allowing you to continue learning and use your experience to expand into BI and Big Data.
