We are looking for a Airworthiness Engineer to join a Leading Aerospace company based in the Thames Valley area. This company are pioneering the Defence industry and working on extremely high tech products that dramatically impact life as we know it today.
Your role will be to prepare bid, proposal and project documentation in support of certification, including plans and reports. Regular meetings with customers to review designs will be necessary and you will feed the requirements into the project team whilst monitoring compliance. You are going to be a key part of this business and must have the ability to be ambiguous in securing/ maintaining high standards across all functions.
Recent experience in an Airworthiness role
Knowledge of Aircraft/ Airframe systems
Ability to drive continuous improvement
Knowledge of EASA Part 21J obligations and ETSO applications
Understanding of Aircraft System and Software Safety
Strong communication skills
Ability to liaise and negotiate with stakeholders and build strong relationships
Decisive and strong problem solving ability
