As a Scrum Master, you will be responsible for supporting and guiding 1 to 2 Scrum teams.

Your primary objective will be to enable the development team to deliver value to the customer in a smooth and sustainable manner. You will assist them in transparently communicating progress and improvement actions. Facilitating Scrum events and empowering the development team to self-organize, plan, and deliver their work will be a key aspect of your role.

Your daily focus will revolve around creating a safe environment where feedback and ideas can flow freely, allowing team members to recognize each other's strengths and leverage them effectively, thereby enhancing communication and team cohesion. Your role will be instrumental in fostering team growth by safeguarding the agile mindset and facilitating continuous improvement.

As a Scrum Master, you will collaborate with the Release Train Engineer (Scrum of scrums, PI planning), various product managers (prioritization, aligning product thinking with project management), project managers (progress reporting), and delivery team management.

  • You have a good understanding of Kanban and its benefits.
  • Knowledge and/or experience with DevOps, Spotify, LeSS, or SAFe is a plus.
  • You are a strong communicator and an excellent facilitator.
  • You have experience in a development environment and understand modern software engineering principles.
  • You can thrive in a fast-changing environment and are constantly striving for improvement and quality.
  • You are fluent in Dutch (or French) and English.
