Group IT Disaster Recovery (ITDR) Lead
You will be instrumental in leveraging the heightened awareness around resiliency to deliver a best-in-class ITDR program in a dynamic, challenging, and rewarding environment. This role will join the current ITDR team and help lay the foundations elements needed such as discovery, risk assessments, technology dependency mapping, oversight of data backup & and restore capabilities, ITDR governance, and compliance.
This position requires a strong customer focus, a high degree of technical capability, flexibility, independence, a strong ability to influence and guide stakeholders, organizational skills and the ability to problem-solve. The ideal candidate will be comfortable adapting to ambiguity and have a proven track record of delivering activities and impressive results in specialist or manager level roles.
Key requirements:
- 5-8 years of experience working in ITDR programs and successful execution in complex, decentralised environments, ideally in the tech industry
- Business Continuity experience desirable, IT Disaster Recovery Institute International (DRII) or other DR professional certification (highly valued)
- Excellent stakeholder engagement skills with a particular ability to communicate the importance and benefits of ITDR to the organisation in a way that meets stakeholder needs
- A Practical Approach to ITDR and Risk Management
- Excellent Google Suite, Microsoft office skills, and ease with adapting to new technology. Experience with BCM software is a plus
- Experience in technical major incident management (significant disruptions). Cyberecurity experience is a plus
- Strong understanding of Data Backup & Restore requirements/capabilities
Responsibilities and tasks :
- Supporting the Organization in delivering the ITDR Program
- Review the outcomes of Business Impact Analysis (BIA) completed in BC Program and work with key stakeholders to validate information, define the list of tech dependencies, mapping business requirements to technology
- Support the delivery of the Global IT Disaster Recovery Roadmap
- Ensure stakeholder alignment to ITDR Policy and Data Backup & Restore Policy
- Building and maintaining strong stakeholder relationships integral to the ongoing success of the ITDR capability
