Java Software Developer

Central Bath

Full time, Permanent

The office you will be working in is located in Central Bath, which is only a 5 minute walk from the Bath train station. The role:

I am looking for a passionate Java Developer to join the Development team alongside the technical support and sales teams. Daily tasks involve you designing, developing and testing new UI features and changes and to create design specifications. You will be contributing by making changes and improvements to the internally used development software.

You must have good English communication skills both verbal and written. You will be self-motivated, with a strong aptitude for problem solving and have a passion for coding.

You will be experienced in:

  • Java SE programming
  • Working knowledge of C and/or C++
  • Use of Eclipse as an IDE
  • Familiarity with generics and annotations
  • Experience in working with database technology
  • Unit testing
  • Eclipse plug-in development
  • Understanding, experience or knowledge with Embedded Systems
  • Wildfly, JBoss tools
  • AngularJS
  • MySQL
